Outsider Art Week kicks off with the American Folk Art Museum's Visionary Award Ceremony. This award will be presented each January during Outsider Art Week.

The first award recognizes dealer Phyllis Kind for her pioneering work over the last forty years, fostering supportive relationships with collectors and artists alike while also writing and lecturing worldwide.

Phyllis Kind Gallery will be at the 16th Annual Outsider Art Fair to be held January 25-27, 2008 at the Puck Building in New York City.

The Fair is the main event of Outsider Art Week, presented by the American Folk Art Museum.
